Review: Garnier Fructis Surf Hair

So as you may have noticed I have curly hair. It's fairly hard to manage and often goes frizzy and mad-looking or else goes flat and the curls fall out. So with this in mind I'm always looking for new products to make it look nice.

So I stumbled upon Garnier Fructis Surf Hair in Boots a few weeks ago and decided I'd give it a go.

I love slightly messy looking tousled hair, the kind you get after a day at the beach so that's what I was hoping to achieve from this Surf Spray. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I'm finding it good. It makes my hair nice and tousled looking with minimal frizz. It's also very good value, it was around €4.50 and it's lasting well, I still have over half the bottle left and I've been applying it liberally. I'd reccommend you give this a go if you have short-medium length hair and want a light hold product which wont make your hair sticky, flaky or look like it has product in it at all

Has anyone got any other products for curly hair they can reccommend to me?

Fyrinnae Lip Lustres Review & Swatches

I bought these products quite some time ago, I'd say it's been close enough to a year. I don't use them as often as I should, I actually totally forgot I had them for quite a while. Lip Lustres are quite a good product though, see after the cut for more.

Upcoming Reviews

So I have a few new products which I must find time to review and there'll be lots more where these are coming from because I've finally found a job! I'm working weekends collecting glasses in a pub and while it's not the most fun way I can think of spending my Saturday nights it's not bad at all especially now I'm getting used to it. Having a job means I'll be able to buy all those products I've been lusting over for the last year or two! First up I want to make a Fyrinnae order, I need to try out their Pixie Epoxy after reading so many rave reviews and they've got some new eyeshadows and lip lustres which I want to get. Next I want to order some OCC lip tars, again because everyone is raving about them and because they come in such nice and unusual colours. There's a few other brands I want to try out over the next few months too- Sleek; Shiro, I love the Pokémon theme; Sugarpill; Aromaleigh; Illamasqua and and I'm sure there's more I've forgotten.

I'll soon have a review on Body Shop Polynesia Monoi Miracle Oil.

It's currently sitting in my hair waiting to be washed out in the morning. So far I can tell you that it smells amazing and I'll see in the morning if it's made a difference to my hair.

I bought some Boots 17 products recently which I'm planning on reviewing, I was impressed with them especially since they were so cheap. I also have some nail polishes due for a review. Coming up next though will be a piece on Fyrinnae lip lustres.

Beyoncé inspired FOTD

Inspired by the makeup in Beyoncé's 'Why don't you love me' video. I saw the video and was amazed- it's fantastic! I was never a fan of Beyoncé until recently but some of her newer songs are really good and I'm very impressed by her latest style and makeup changes, she looks good!
